RUNWAY | Elie Tahari S'15 RTW.

THURSDAY.
Filtering through the Nytimes Style section -- as those unfortunate enough to not be attending the Spring 2015 collection viewings do -- I became enamored with Elie Tahari's display at first sight. I love overviewing ready to wear showcases, mostly because it helps me do major wardrobe detoxing and re-curating. I'll always be one for staples with unique detailing... clothing pieces that are more than less timeless.. something my mother would approve of, while still not submitting to carbon copy status.
Tahari gathers gauzy fabrics with micro tears, monochromatic palettes, and uneven hemlines in a feminine yet tomboy-ishly sexy sloppy way that appeases my grungy Seattle aesthetic very much so.
