Me - Blazer: Rag&Bone | Belt: Eileen Fisher | Chinese Blouse: Friend's grandmother | Dress: H&M | Booties: Sam Edelman.
Priscilla - Dress: Haute Hippie.

The 8th Annual Fashion First Show in Seattle this past Thursday was the hottest night of my summer.
My girl, Priscilla of Seattle Styles, and I got ready in her townhouse with somewhat exotic inspiration: I had a silk-sanded, boat-necked mini dress from H&M layered under my friend's grandmother's Chinese button down. Don't ask how it became mine... Wrapped a soft-leather belt three times around my Rag&Bone blazer over it all. Priscilla threw on a Haute Hippie chain mail -esque dress over her work slitted maxiskirt and some sexily roughed up suede cowboy boots. Almost had a Mediterranean print scarf wrapped around her head, but decided the gold in the dress was plenty.

At the show, local boutiques displayed their stylings and designs using fabulously leggy models. I can't place a season or a name on the gorgeous model in my ^last two photos (though she told me), but she insanely reminds me of a contestant from antm. Regardless, the crowd was gorgeous and stylish, despite MSN recently placing Seattle 6th on the worst dressed cities in the world (We can thank the overt flannel- and the REIgear- wearers for that). It wasn't the worst dressed Seattlelites who helped raise $80k+ for the Rise N Shine kids. Hurray for philanthropic ventures, sartorial exposure, tall tonics, and mingling.
Finally moving back into the city this week.

  2. You're right! That's Elina from TCM and ANTM. She was our 'face' of Fashion First last year, and a joy to work with.

Thanks for coming out last Thursday...and for documenting your night!
