PERSONAL WARDROBE | Nº 3.

top: shulami from juju. belt: vintage. dress: bcbg. thigh highs: nordstrom. heels: nine west.

For the dinner date, I threw a poncho-esque top over my LBD and (to keep my torso from looking like a box) I buckled it with a lazy, waist belt. The stockings layered with lacy thigh highs (which I took out of the bedroom because it so wonderfully paints the illusion that I've thin, long legs) provides for a more efficient shield against the elements. Don't knock it; it works. Coco Chanel was right: playing with clothes is all about proportion.

  6. i know, its a little surprising. but mens jeans are cheap, and since hot topic pants are made for scrawny "sad" teens, theyre very slim fitting. the only problem would be if you had an even number waist size, since mens pants only come in even. luckily i'm a 26 and I just love them! I'd check it out if you're in the market for new pants, the fit I use is "rude" (I know, dumb).
